Player buys lucky ticket in Payday game
The seventh progressive jackpot-winning ticket in the FAST PLAY Payday game is now in the hands of a Maryland Lottery player.
The lucky winner is $94,898 richer after visiting Corner Market in Delmar on March 15 to buy the $5 game. The Payday progressive jackpot game is one of 15 FAST PLAY games and went on sale in June 2020. There are still 13 jackpots remaining and 16 ways to win with this ticket.
Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. Winners typically get 182 days from the sale date of FAST PLAY tickets and 182 days from the drawing date of draw game tickets to claim prizes. However, the Lottery has temporarily extended claiming deadlines due to Maryland’s COVID-19 state of emergency.
The big winner can claim the prize by mail or in person by appointment at the Lottery headquarters’ Customer Resource Center located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore. Get details on how to claim by mail here and how to schedule an appointment here.
Also a winner is Lottery retailer Corner Market. The Eastern Shore convenience store located at 1 South Bi-State Boulevard in Wicomico County earns a bonus from the Lottery of $948.98. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
