Fort Washington Woman Returning to LA for 2028 Summer Games

Jocelyn Johnson of Fort Washington is returning to LA after winning a trip to the 2028 Olympic games with the Keno Team USA™ second-chance promotion.

Jocelyn Johnson is going back to Los Angeles but this time to the 2028 Summer Olympic Games as a winner of Maryland Lottery’s Keno Team USA™ second-chance promotion.

Jocelyn and her husband went on vacation to LA over a decade ago and enjoyed Venice Beach, Malibu Beach, Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles and other stops.

“We always wanted to go back,” she said with excitement.

The Fort Washington resident returns with a VIP trip for two that includes round-trip airfare, five nights deluxe hotel accommodations, tickets to four Olympic events, meals, ground transportation, $1,000 spend money and Team USA apparel.

Jocelyn enjoys watching the Olympic games on TV and said she is hoping basketball, swimming, and track and field are among the events that she gets to attend.

Players can purchase and enter Keno tickets into My Lottery Rewards from now until Feb. 22. Players who enter a winning or non-winning Keno ticket will receive one (1) entry per one dollar ($1) entered.

Once your tickets are entered, you’ll have a chance to win the trip or a Team USA apparel and merchandise prize pack, including a Men’s or Ladies’ LA28 retro stripe t-shirt and Nike Ripstop LA28 adjustable hat.

Jocelyn and her husband said they are a team. She plays and he enters the tickets.

“We enter all the tickets, and we were aiming for this trip,” her husband said. “We thought it was a long shot.”

Jocelyn is our second winner going to the 2028 Summer Olympics joining Barbara Henderson of Silver Spring. Three more trips remain with drawings taking place on Feb. 3, Feb. 10 and Feb. 23
