The avid Keno player realized his 9-spot ticket with the Super Bonus feature matched eight out of the nine numbers in one of his seven games. He scanned his ticket and went speechless once he realized that he won $62,500.
The 26-year-old asphalt worker frequently visits 7-Eleven #16342 located at 1042 West Patrick Street in Frederick to play Keno and other Lottery games. He is no stranger to winning Keno prizes but still cannot believe the size of his biggest Lottery payday ever.
The Frederick County resident has shared the great news with his family. In fact, he was so excited that he sent his wife a video and screenshot of himself and the winning ticket. She is equally in shock!
He hasn’t made any solid plans yet for spending the prize but said he may use it to purchase property.
His lucky retailer can celebrate, too. The Frederick County convenience store receives a bonus of $625 for selling a winning Keno ticket of $10,000 or more. The bonus is equal to 1% of the prize.
