Multi-Match Jackpot Prize Goes to Baltimore County Volunteer

Wins $2.75 million in Feb. 4 drawing

Does the universe reward those who perform good deeds? That’s what happened to a Baltimore County woman, who generously gives her time and energy to community service. She won the $2.75 million Multi-Match jackpot in the Feb. 4 drawing.

The 61-year-old found her lucky ticket at 7-Eleven #32287 in Owings Mills. She bought a $10 ticket, mixing personal numbers and quick-pick numbers. One of the quick-pick lines generated by the terminal was her big winner! The Owings Mills resident, who is our first player to hit a Multi-Match jackpot in 2021, selected the $2,364,258 cash option (before taxes) and split the prize with a 66-year-old Owings Mills resident.

When asked of her plans for her windfall, the loyal player said she plans to donate the prize to community goods and services.

This was our largest Multi-Match jackpot since 2018, when two jackpots hit the $2 million mark. An Oct. 4, 2018 drawing led to a $2.35 million jackpot claimed on a ticket sold at Carroll Liquors in Mt. Airy. A Jan. 18, 2018 drawing led to a $2.05 million jackpot win on a ticket sold at Coventry Way Exxon in Clinton.

Her Lottery retailer also earned a reward for the sale of the lucky ticket. The 7-Eleven #32287 located at 3731 Crondall Lane received a $2,750 bonus from the Lottery for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The Multi-Match jackpot is back on another roll and set at $550,000 for the Thursday, Feb. 25 drawing. Players have plenty of time to buy tickets and try their luck. The cash option is $300,000.
