Powerball Player’s Belated Birthday Gift a $50,000 Surprise

Finds Lottery luck only days after his celebration

Another Powerball player has banked a $50,000 third-tier prize by playing the popular millionaire-making game. The Baltimore County man visited his local Lottery retailer, Ingleside Food Mart in Catonsville, just a few days after his birthday. The anonymous 42-year-old bought a lucky one draw, $2 quick-pick Powerball ticket just five hours before the July 10 drawing.

The winning numbers in the drawing were 1, 5, 29, 54 and 62; the Powerball was 3. The player’s ticket matched the 1, 5, 29, 54 and Powerball for his big win.

The fortunate Catonsville resident is one of 32 Marylanders who have won $50,000 third-tier prizes in 2021. Players can try their luck, too, in the next Powerball drawing on Wednesday, July 14. The jackpot has rolled to $137 million with a cash option of $98.3 million. To visit our player’s retailer, stop by 1022 Ingleside Avenue in Catonsville.
