The Week in Winners: FAST PLAY Ticket Worth $922,144 is Lottery’s Top Win of the Week

Players won or claimed $30.7 million during the week ending March 7

A Lottery player in Annapolis made a purchase on the morning of March 7 that delivered a whopping $922,144 prize – the first progressive jackpot hit in the FAST PLAY Diamond Mine game. Meanwhile, seven other prizes of $50,000 to $100,000 on a variety of tickets were purchased in the past week in Aberdeen, Baltimore, Bel Air, Essex, Gaithersburg and Rockville.

One of the luckiest retailers of the week was Alex Convenience Store in Boonsboro, which sold a Racetrax ticket worth $10,631.40 on March 6 and a Keno ticket worth $10,000 on March 7.

All told, Maryland Lottery players across the state won or claimed more than $30.7 million in the seven days ending March 7, including 38 players who won or claimed prizes of $10,000 or more during the week.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only.

All Lottery retailers are authorized to cash winning tickets up to $600, and approximately 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) retailers are authorized to cash tickets valued up to $5,000. Prizes up to and including $25,000 can be claimed at any of Maryland’s six casinos with no appointment necessary. More information is available on the How To Claim page of mdlottery.com.
