Prince George’s County resident finds top prize in $3 game
Some Maryland Lottery players cannot control their excitement after winning life- changing prizes. Lucky “Renee” found herself jumping up and down inside her favorite Lottery retailer’s store while complete strangers smiled and laughed.
“I went into the store with every intention of playing it cool,” said “Renee.” The District Heights resident planned to check her Super Tic Tac Toe instant ticket for a win while at her favorite Lottery retailer, Jaz Wholesale Market in Prince George’s County. “As soon as the scanner showed the prize, I just couldn’t contain myself!”
“Renee” started jumping up and down. Then, our lucky mother of two stood in the middle of the store and cried tears of happiness as shoppers congratulated her on the $30,000 top-prize win. Her bout with Lottery luck occurred because she had $9 left from playing her favorite games and wanted to buy one more game with the $9.
The 46-year-old winner plans to use her prize to pay her rent for a year and build her savings to purchase a home. She also plans to take her family on a cruise and continue playing Lottery games in hopes of winning big again. Her dream game to win, “Renee” said, is Cash4Life!
The $3 Super Tic Tac Toe game went on sale in March with eight top prizes. This exciting scratch-off offers four games to play, with prizes awarded for matching symbols in a row or diagonally. Six $30,000 top prizes remain along with 11 $1,000 prizes.
The Jaz Wholesale Market, which sold the lucky ticket, is celebrating a win, too. The Lottery retailer located at 3400 Walters Lane in District Heights will receive a $300 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize winning instant ticket.
