$50,000-Winning Powerball Ticket Sold in Crofton

Lucky ticket from last night’s drawing sold in Anne Arundel County

Congratulations to Maryland’s newest $50,000 Powerball winner! An Anne Arundel County retailer sold the third-tier prize winning ticket in the Monday, Jan. 13 drawing. Even though no one hit the estimated jackpot, Maryland had 11,184 total winners of prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000.

Check your ticket carefully for the $50,000 win if you bought it at the 7-Eleven at 2129 Defense Highway in Crofton. The winning numbers were 4, 6, 16, 39 and 66; the Powerball was 9 and the Power Play multiplier was x2.

Winners are encouraged to sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing.

Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins). The appointment scheduling page shows all available appointment times.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity of $303 million for the Wednesday, Jan. 15 drawing, with an estimated cash option of $132.8 million. This is the fourth $50,000 Powerball winning ticket sold in Maryland in 2025, with another Anne Arundel County retailer in Arnold selling a ticket with the same prize in Saturday’s drawing.
