Players across Maryland won more than $29.7 million during week ending Jan. 22

A Maryland Lottery player claimed a $2 million prize on a scratch-off ticket purchased in Randallstown, while another scratch-off player in Edgewater landed $100,000 in the past week.

Another 10 players each won $50,000 on a variety of tickets sold in Baltimore, Bowie, Charlestown, Clinton, Elkridge, Glen Burnie, Greensboro, Hanover, Joppatowne and Middle River.

In all, the seven days ending Jan. 22 produced 28 winning tickets worth $10,000 or more that were redeemed or sold across Maryland, and the Lottery paid more than $29.7 million in prizes during that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
