The Week in Winners: Baltimore City Scratch-off Worth $500,000 is Week’s Biggest Win

Players across Maryland won nearly $34.8 million during week ending March 27

A scratch-off ticket sold in Baltimore City delivered a $500,000 prize, and four Pick 5 tickets worth a total of $150,000 that were sold at a retailer in St. Mary’s County led the Maryland Lottery’s list of top prizes for the past week.

In all, 35 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or claimed, and the Lottery paid nearly $34.8 million in prizes in the seven days ending March 27.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
