A $210,745 winning FAST PLAY ticket sold on Sept. 12 in West Friendship (Howard County) was the Maryland Lottery’s biggest prize of the past week. Scratch-offs, Bonus Match 5 and Powerball produced four $50,000 wins in Baltimore, Bel Air, California and Severna Park.
The FAST PLAY Platinum Payout ticket sold in West Friendship delivered the second of the game’s progressive jackpot prizes. Platinum Payout launched in April 2026 with a progressive jackpot that starts at $75,000 and increases with the sale of each ticket until a jackpot winner is sold. There are still 10 progressive jackpot prizes remaining in the game, along with six $50,000 prizes and thousands of additional prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000.
FAST PLAY tickets feature instant-win prizes, similar to scratch-offs, but there’s no scratching needed. The tickets are printed on-demand by Lottery terminals and self-service vending machines.
During the week of Sept. 7-13, a total of 26 tickets statewide delivered Lottery prizes of $10,000 or more and the total winnings for all prizes statewide came to more than $30.4 million.
Winners are encouraged to sign the backs of tickets and keep winning tickets in a safe location. Tickets for draw games expire 182 days after the drawing date. FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after purchase. The last dates to claim for scratch-off tickets are posted on the scratch-offs page at mdlottery.com.
Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at the cashier window of any of the six casinos in Maryland. Prizes up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations. All Maryland Lottery retailers are authorized to redeem tickets worth up to and including $600. More information is available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website.
