The Week in Winners: Scratch-Off Ticket Makes Fallston Player a Maryland Lottery Millionaire

Players across the state won more than $30.5 million during week ending May 29

A new millionaire in Fallston, a $100,000 winner in Hyattsville, and six tickets worth $50,000 each in Frederick, Glen Burnie, Nottingham, Temple Hills, Urbana and Waldorf were the Maryland Lottery’s biggest wins of the past week.

In all, 35 tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold or redeemed in the seven days ending May 28 and the Lottery paid more than $30.5 million in prizes in that span.

Winners of prizes larger than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Claims Center in Baltimore, which is open by appointment only. Prizes of up to $5,000 can be claimed at any of more than 400 Expanded Cashing Authority Program (XCAP) locations.
